Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
You don't need to. The quote calculator only needs six pieces: your gender, birthday, current health status, whether you use tobacco, how much coverage you want, and what term length interests you. Your name and detailed health records come in only if you move to an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
Those are the actual rates each insurance company is quoting for the health status you told us. After you apply and the carrier reviews your full health history, they might confirm that rate, offer you something better, or adjust it. This site's quotes are estimates, not a guarantee of what you'll pay.
What happens when I click Apply?
You submit your name, your chosen quote gets loaded into the carrier's application system, and you continue from there on their secure platform. You can pause and return later to finish. Everything is signed electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, licensed in California (License 0B75129), manages the application process.
Will I need a medical exam?
That depends on which carrier you choose, how much coverage you're asking for, and your health profile. Some carriers now offer immediate approval without a physical for many applicants. Every quote on this site tells you whether a medical exam is needed, might be needed, or isn't needed.
Is a longer term better?
Your term should match the years when you're most needed financially: when you have a house loan, kids depending on you, or business debt you'd want paid off. Longer terms cost more each month but fix your rate for more years. You can see prices for 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year terms all in one place.
Does this site sell my information?
We don't. The quote tool never takes your name or email. We keep no visitor database and don't share information with anyone. Our measurement system doesn't use cookies and respects the Do Not Track signal. The privacy page lists exactly what information is collected and who can see it.
